Graduation Update!

Congratulations to the entire Class of 2021 on your upcoming graduation! Please see this information for students and this information for parents and guests for critical updates including limited tickets to attend graduation (BUT we have LIVE STREAMING) and what to do about parking (do NOT park on Mast Blvd. You will get a ticket!)

We are VERY EXCITED to be able to hold a single Graduation Ceremony this year given the improved public health conditions. We still have requirements for social distancing, wearing of face masks, and no congregating on campus before or after the ceremony, but WE CAN CELEBRATE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS and your "walk across the stage"!

We will be sending out more information to Seniors regarding the ceremony itself so please be on the lookout for that in the next two weeks.

GRADUATION Cap and Gown: If any Senior wants to participate in our Graduation Ceremony (details to follow soon) on Tuesday June 8, they MUST ORDER a Cap and Gown from SDGRAD.com. You may choose to purchase your own or get a free sanitized rental, but you MUST order one or you can not participate.

Important Dates and Info:

• May 22, 7:30-10:30PM: Senior PROM in the WHHS Stadium.

  • WHHS CANNOT sell tickets after May 17th at 3:30 PM. You must complete your Prom ticket purchase at our Finance Office no later than May 17th. The Finance Office hours are 7am-11:45am and 1pm-3:30PM daily.

  • GUEST PASSES: At this time, WHHS has been approved to allow guest passes for Senior PROM! If a senior would like to bring a guest other than another WHHS graduating Senior, please follow the instructions on the attached guest pass application. Guest pass applications will need to be filled out and submitted 48 hours prior to purchasing the tickets (to allow time for admin to process), so please be sure to take care of the form ASAP! The deadline to turn in a guest pass is May 13, 2021 @3:29PM. All Guest pass applications must be turned into the Assistant Principal’s Office. You are responsible for meeting deadlines for your guest. Your guest must also complete the Extracurricular Activities Waiver. We will not accept any emailed or faxed documents.   • May 27, 6:00 p.m. Senior Awards (details to follow)

  • June 7, 10:00-12:00: Senior Send Off Parade (on campus; Students and families stay in cars)

  • June 8, 8:30 a.m: Graduation (details to follow based on public health guidelines)
